“Maine Coon” is a breed of cats which have a distinctive size and appearance as compare to other domestic cats. They are the result of cross breeding between Cats and Raccoons and are one of the oldest natural breeds in North America.

In spite of being large in size, Maine coon are quite social with their nickname “the gentle giant”. When fully grown, they can weigh up to 8.2 kg and reach a body length of 120 cm, a gigantic size that is almost a tiger cub.
