Man Never Stops Being Proud Of His Dad Who Has Down Syndrome

Family comes in all forms, shapes, and sizes. Kids are happy when they grow up with the love, kindness, and tolerance of their parents and siblings. Their family might be different from others but this doesn’t prevent them from being proud of their family. It’s probably the most wonderful thing that God gave them.

The man named Sader Issa shares the same story. He was raised by his dad Jad who has Down Syndrome (SD). His dad might not be perfect but it doesn’t mean that he isn’t a great dad. The bond between him and his son is unbreakable.

Like other fathers, Jad loves his son unconditionally. He has always spent the best he could for his son. The warm and loving relationship between dad and son strengthens day by day, through activities and journeys they have been together. Sader is no longer a playful and energetic boy but his love for his dad stays remained, even intensifies.

Just look at the way Sader talks about his dad. He is always proud of his dad. Some say that people with down syndrome cannot be good parents due to their physical and mental difficulties. However, Sader’s dad, Jad proved that it is wrong. He can learn to do this sacred role the best that he can.

Jad lives a normal life, loves his wife and son, and is always nice and kind to people around him. He is also proud of his son by saying “my son is a doctor.”

“It’s possible to see when his eyes are filled with joy and satisfaction, as if to express: yes, I have Down syndrome, but I raised this man and did everything in my power to make him become a doctor and help others,” Jad explained.

“Being different is not something to be ashamed of. People with Down Syndrome are different but they have feelings, aspirations, a mind of their own, and they are capable of living a normal life when there is social acceptance and a society that is supportive,” Sader said in an interview.

A true family is where children find it comfortable and cozy to live. They feel love and receives care from their parents. Even when they’re adults, a big hug or pat from their beloved parents can bring them extra power to deal with struggles in life. We just love our parents, our family in the way they are.

It’s worth mentioning that parents help form who we are today. Sader inherits the sincerity, kindness, and persistence of his dad, Dad. People with down syndrome can be great parents.
