Grumpy Cat, the cat famous on the internet for her permanent scowl, sadly passed away at the age of seven. Despite her sad and grumpy expression, Grumpy Cat always brought happiness and laughter to people from over the world.
We all know that no cat could ever replace that Internet legend, but we’ve recently been introduced to another feline who has captured the Internet’s attention thanks to her angry expression. Her name is Kitzia, and she’s on her way to being the new Grumpy Cat.
Kitzia lives with her human, Viktoriia Otdielnova in Florida. Viktoriia is a professional photographer, so it’s not surprising that Kitzia’s photos have gained a lot of people’s attention.
According to the kitty’s owner, despite her angry and grumpy face, Kitzia is a sweet and cute cat who loves playing with everyone. But just like any other cat, she also sometimes expresses a disgust for the world or throws temper tantrums.
Viktoriia created an Instagram account for Kitzia to share her daily life with her fans around the world. Now, Kitzia has more than 50.000 followers on her Instagram page.
For Kitzia’s owner, photography has always been more than ‘just a job’ or ‘just a hobby’. “It brings me so much joy creating memories that last forever. Photography is a part of me, of who I am,” Viktoriia writes on her website. “It is my endless source of energy.”
Kitzia deserves to be among the world’s angriest felines, and we like to think that Grumpy Cat would be more than happy to pass on the baton onto her successor.
