Jack is the name of the goat. He is 16 years old and his friend, Charlie, is a blind 40-year-old horse. The two have built a strong bond as Jack helps his friend get around, becoming his eyes.

The point here is the goat has never been trained to do this work. Both Jack and Charlie are currently living on a ranch and become inseparable. They do everything together, from walking to sleeping.
