It’s heartbreaking to see so many pets orphaned and abandoned. Some cruel people dump them and leave them to fend for themselves. They have to survive day-to-day without being protected from abuse, hunger, and sickness. Thankfully, there are still many people who are willing to help these poor animals and give them a second chance at life.
When 8 newborn puppies and their mom were dumped at an abandoned house and were in terrible condition, a rescue team saved them and helped them find forever homes. The mom and the pups were healthy, but there was something wrong with two puppies named Trimble and Twitch. They couldn’t eat or drink and couldn’t stop trembling, so the rescue called their newborn foster expert, Christie, for help.
She quickly took them to the vet for a check up. Sadly, they were diagnosed with Cerebellar Hypoplasia, an underdevelopment of the cerebellum that can affect their brains, resulting in a loss of coordination and balance. There is no known treatment for Cerebellar Hypoplasia, but dogs with this condition don’t experience any pain. For this reason, Trimble and Twitch are in no pain, and they are just wobbly.
The pups and the mom quickly found their new homes, except for Trimble and Twitch. The two adorable puppies also desire a loving home. But sadly, no one wanted to foster them because of their health problem. Christie knew that it was very difficult to find a family for these trembling pups, so she decided to adopt them and give them a loving home.
It wasn’t always easy to raise special needs dogs, but Christie refused to give up. She and her husband did everything they could to make life easier. Eventually, their effort was paid off. The pups could walk and eat by themselves. Thanks to all the love and care, the pups got through difficult things and now becomes two happy dogs.
We are happy to know that Trimble and Twitch are now enjoying their best life. They are special need dogs, but they can be perfect dogs and great pets too. They don’t care they have CH, they just love this world, love their parents, and never let anything stop them from living happily. We hope that they will be loved and cared forever.
