Following Their Owners To Harvest Dragonfruits, These Mischievous Dogs Were Caught Red-Snouted

Dogs are truly our best friends. They not only comfort us but also help us do some work. But it doesn’t mean that you can totally believe in their performance, especially to dogs that are not professionally trained to work or are mischievous. They may still complete the tasks but can do some shenanigans at the same time. Caught red-pawed or red-snouted, for instance.

That’s what the owners of Kelly the Border Collies and Keira the Australian Shepherd from Taiwan experienced. The both, and two other Border Collies followed their owners to the farm to harvest dragonfruits. But the calling of these fruits was so strong that these dogs couldn’t resist. As a result, these companions were caught red-snouted.

Looking at lovely, innocent faces of Kelly and Keira, their owners can’t do anything but forgive them. They also took out their camera and snap the hilarious moment. They then posted these photos on the Internet and they went viral. Everyone can’t help bursting out laughing when seeing these pics.

“Kelly is 5 years old and she’s super smart. She is also funny, energetic, playful, loving, and always wants to make everybody happy. She can do plenty of tricks on command and she knows the names of all her toys,” Kelly and Keira’s owner told Bored Panda.

“Keira is a 6-month-old Australian Shepherd, so she’s also very playful and energetic with an innocent and trusting heart. She believes everybody and all dogs love her just like we people do.”

Kelly and Keira get along so well, you would think they’re from the same litter. “They’re inseparable and always do everything together.”

“Keira came from C-Square Aussies, the best dog breeders in Taiwan. They helped us a lot to choose the right puppy for Kelly’s personality. They became best friends the moment Keira came to our home.”

The farm Kelly and Keira and their friends picked dragonfruit at is about 10 hectares big. Their owners also grow bananas, guavas, loquats, and papayas in here. “It’s quite easy for the dogs to pick the dragonfruits from the trees because the fruit grows on cactus plants, conveniently hanging down,” Kelly and Keira’s owner added.

These dogs aren’t just causing mischief. They are also professionally trained to do human’s jobs. Kelly, for example, is a certified therapy dog and has helped a lot of elders and kids.
