Normally, kittens come into the world with their eyes and ears closed for the first week. During this time, they are so vulnerable and unable to protect themselves. Therefore, newborn kittens always need the best care from their mother. These two orphaned kittens, however, didn’t have anyone take care of them. But luckily, they are rescued by Julia Modas, a warm-hearted woman with forever love for animals.

Being taken to home, the baby kittens were given their own names, Sugar and Cream. Their eyes had not opened yet, but they looked super cute. Julia made a cozy and comfortable bed for them, and meals were always ready to be served. Although their eyes closed, they can even make sounds to inform that they were hungry.

11 days after birth, their eyes opened, but the visions were not very clear. The babies looked bigger in their thicker hair. However, they still needed special care at that time. Sugar had good pantomime skill, while Cream could make dainty air-biscuits.

From the third week, they started to take their first shaky steps. It seemed that they still needed more time to enhance the balance and walk more confidently. Those two kittens also ate better as they grew up. The siblings enjoyed wrestling with each other, like how they were so connected since their birth.

It didn’t take long for the kittens to become confident enough in their newfound mobility, so Julia just brought them to the box. She thought it was the best time for them to start exploring the surroundings and socializing with the world. The little cats grew up quickly, they became more playful and curious. But that made them looked even more lovely.

Later, the kittens were taught to eat solid food, although they still continued their nursing for the next few weeks. At that time, they became healthy enough to explore the surroundings and enjoy the plays. Also, they were so curious and active. Thanks to Julia’s special care and love, they became much bigger in size with beautiful hairs and adorable faces. Sugar and Cream stayed very closed to each other, and to Julia, who fostered them since they were newborns. They loved playing with her, too.

With the amazing transformation, the little kittens surprised everyone. Julia loved them because they were two active and healthy girls. We can be happy that they could grow up in safe and much care even without their mother. However, there are many other abandoned kittens who are fighting for their survival every day.
