After 25 Years In Circus Displaying Tricks For The Public, Black Bear Can Now Happily Enjoy Cool Sunshine Shower

Wild animals should always live in the wild – the place where they belong to. They might face threats and dangers in their environment but it follows the rules of nature. That’s why the existence of the circus is somewhat wrong. Many majestic animals are kept here and play tricks for the public until their retirement. Even when they receive good treatment, they can never be as happy as they are in the wild. No freedom. That is what matters.

Toshka the elderly bear in this story experienced the same. The giant spent 25 years working in the circus. His life would be such dull days until he was rescued and transferred to the sanctuary for ‘rehabilitation and life support’ in Satanov in Ukraine.

The bear was seen happily enjoying cool showers in the sun. He had never dreamed of this when living in the circus. That is the reason why he grasps it when he gets an opportunity.

This heart-warming moment was filmed on camera by the sanctuary’s staff. It when viral after shared on the Internet. It touches the heart of millions of people. Wild animals deserve and love to live a normal life.

Toshka can’t get enough of the sunny days. However, this was not what he showed off during the first days at the sanctuary. He used to be scared, staying hidden all day. 25 years in the circus seemed to “erase” his born nature of a majestic animal.

Luckily, the old bear started to come out of his zone when he sensed the love and comfort of the staff at the sanctuary. He can finally live peacefully for the rest of his life.

“Toshka was very afraid of people: he didn’t leave the bushes for two weeks,” a staff member said. “Most of his life he was a circus bear, but now he’s here for rehabilitation and life support.”

Toshka is now a friendly, gentle giant.

“Care and attention melted his heart,” another member of the staff said.”Now his favourite pastime is to shower in the sun. He takes a sitting position and is ready to sit for hours.”
