Little Pooch Is Not Afraid To Let Wife Know That Husband Belongs To Her

Meet Bristol, the little dog who has lots of love to give, but pretty much all of her love seems to go to one person – her beloved dad, Nathan McNeese.

She loves his dad so much that she has claimed him as her own. She is not afraid to let everyone, especially McNeese’s wife, Alicia, know it.

Bristol has lived with Nathan and Alicia since she was a puppy. Although all of members in the family love and care for Bristol, in her mind, it’s all about her and her father Nathan.

“Her go-to person is my husband,” Alicia told The Dodo. “The bond that they have is incredible.”

Bristol loves Nathan and doesn’t want to share him with anyone. And in order to let Alicia know that she doesn’t like to share Nathan’s affection, Bristol has developed a distinct look, that’s meant to scare Alicia away from her hubby:

“‘Sorry, Mom, he is my man,'” Alicia said.

This competition for Nathan’s love plays out in a number of ways. If you’re looking for additional proof of this unusual competition, just look at the video below:

As you could see in the video, it was during a recent road trip. Alicia was resting her head on Nathan’s shoulder, and the moment she lifted her head, clingy Bristol quickly replaced her. Bristol evidently wasn’t pleased that Alicia was sitting shotgun.

“At first, my head was resting on my husband’s shoulder,” Alicia said. “When I lifted my head she replaced it with hers.”

“I think she was thinking, ‘He’s my human. Move on over, Mom,” Alicia said.

Although Bristol has claimed her husband as her own, Alicia is not too upset. After all, she still loves Bristol so much.

“She is sweet,” Alicia said, adding: “When she wants to be.”

Nathan is actually quite aware of the little competition for his love going on at home, but he seems not to have it any other way.

“My husband soaks it up,” Alicia said.
