Most domestic cats have 18 toes including five toes on their front feet and four on their hind paws. However, there are some felines have more toes due to Polydactyly (from the Greek: poly = many, daktulos = fingers). This is a common trait among cats, which makes them have one or two extra toes and are usually on their front feet.
