One day, Edina was on her way to visit her rescue dog when she spotted something moving in the trash. She got closer and saw a poor pup trying to dig through trash to look for food. Not only did the poor soul lose one leg, but he also had a bite wound on his back. The pup was around one month old and weighted 2 kilograms.

Edina had no idea what happened to the poor baby, but she knew that she had to do something to help him. She named the pup Gizmo and took him home. Gizmo seemed to realize that he was in good hands, so he quickly felt comfortable and settled into his new home. He was then fed with delicious food and given a warm bed to sleep.

The next morning, Edina took Gizmo to a vet clinic for a check-up. After checking on him, the vets said that his paw probably got caught in a fox trap. He had no signs of any illness, but he couldn’t walk freely due to his lost paw. The vets explained that when he walked he leaned on that part of his paw and created a wound. For this reason, they suggested the amputation. But at that moment, he was too small and young to do that.

After 3 months, Gizmo was moved into his forever home. A great family fell in love with him and decided to adopt him. He is now happy to get all the love and affection he needs. His new mom will care for him and make everything she can to make his life happy and healthy.
