For a professional animal rescuer, the tough and challenging rescues aren’t the only ones that are worth remembering. Easy rescues are hard to forget too, because the friendliness, the joy and the glowing eyes of the loving guys they save will stay in their hearts furever.
This endearing Pit Bull mix is one of those cheerful animals. Looking at that bright smile, it’s difficult to accept the fact that she had been abandoned on a street of Los Angeles for weeks. However, the poor girl refused to leave her spot after being dumped. During these rough days, she couldn’t stop crying while helplessly waiting for her owner to come back.
Hope For Paws’ founder Eldad Hagar heading out right away after hearing about the pitiful Pittie from a Facebook friend. Joining him was Victoria van Violence – a model who went all the way from Germany to the US just to meet his rescued dogs.
The two quickly spotted that white gal lying alone at the mentioned location. As Victoria came up to say hi, she immediately rushed toward her with her tail wagging happily! Their bond bloomed beautifully right that moment.
The dog wasn’t able to resist the charm of the cheeseburger on Victoria’s hand either – she must be starving for sure. Yes, a cheeseburger and a bottle of clear water, that’s all they needed to lure this bubbly doggo into falling in love and coming home with them. She even hopped in their car herself!
Seriously, this rescue was a piece of cake. But as much as we are happy for this young girl, it’s still hurt to think about how lively and forgiving she was after everything that she’d been through.
Victoria named the new girl Jill. To no one’s surprise, Jill behaved really nicely at the rescue. She clearly knew that these humans were trying to help her out, such a sweet girl!
