Violinist Finds A Great Way To Hold Her Kitten And Practice At The Same Time

Esther Abrami is a professional violinist from France, where she lives with her cute foster kitten named Rémila. They are best friends and their sweet friendship is so strong that nothing can break it.

As a professional violinist, Abrami always tries her best to practice a few hours every day. Unfortunately, her passion for playing music is often interrupted by her kitten’s favorite pastime.

Rémila the spoiled kitten loves nothing more than Abrami’s attention and love. She enjoys cuddling in her foster mom’s lap all the time, even when her mom practices the violin.

However, Abrami typically plays the violin standing up. For this reason, when she stands to practice, Rémila will cry at her feet. “I tried practicing sitting down, and she’d lie down on my lap,” Abrami told The Dodo. “But I can’t always be practicing sitting down.”

Finally, Abrami came up with a great idea to keep her and her kitten happy.

“I had the idea of having a little bag in which I could put her in and have around my waist,” Abrami said. “Never did I think she would absolutely love hanging in there!”

As soon as Abrami placed Rémila into the bag, the little kitten happily settled right in. And now, when Abrami plays the violin, Rémila has the coziest seat in the house.

“I realized she absolutely loves music! I can literally practice for an hour without her moving from the bag,” she said. “To know she enjoys my music has created a really special bond between us.”

Abrami’s solution has made everyone happier, but there has been one adorable unforeseen downside.

Violin practise with kitten

She cries when I leave her on the floor so here’s what I did ???? 1. Start of my practise session ???? 2. End of session ????-Rémila’s story: This kitten was abandoned but thankfully rescued by the cat shelter Association Féli-CitéAs a host family I took care of her for the past week. When she arrived she was less than 400 grams, scared and had breathing issues from having stayed outside for several days. I’m happy to say that after 7 days of milk bottles and constant cuddles Rémila has now become one of the friendliest cats I’ve ever seen. She follows me absolutely everywhere around the house and refuses to be left alone on the floor. She is always either on my laps or in her little bag around my waist! #AdoptDontShop

“It definitely makes my practice session more enjoyable, although I sometimes find it hard to concentrate seeing how cute she is sleeping in the bag,” Abrami said.
