Earlier this month, Father José Geraldo Sobreira was leading mass at the Senhora das Dores Church in Brazil when a surprise visitor with a wagging tail crashed into the church and had playtime on his mind.
Instead of chasing the playful dog away, however, the priest Sobreira decided to play with him. He was happy with the dog’s presence, cuddling the adorable little with a smile, and the dog couldn’t stop licking his feet. “Each day that passes I realize animals are in this world to teach us what pure love is, and that all humans should spread it,” said Sobreira.

The video was posted on Paróquia Nossa Senhora das Dores’s Facebook page and it quickly went viral. Internet users loved how the dog was trying to bury himself in the priests clothes and playing with him. After watching the video, everyone didn’t forget to give the priest Sobreira plenty of praise for how he treated the “angel with four paws.” “Beautiful father! I loved your gesture!” one commenter wrote of Sobreira.
Although it’s unclear where the lovely dog had come from, everyone thought that the visit as something divine. All animals are truly angels who love humans unconditionally and to make humans happy. God put them in this world to teach humans about true love and to be a good human being.
