Let’s meet Marlin, a cat living with four dogs in the Outer Banks of North Carolina. Of course, there must be a reason why we’d like to introduce sweetheart Marlin to you today! While most of the cats are afraid of water, Marlin is a great swimmer, an ocean lover, and a good boat adventurer. He also thinks that he is a real dog! How interesting!

Since he was adopted by mom Caroline Javis, Marlin has stayed attached to his dog siblings and watched everything they did. Now, he loves doing things with the dogs, from drinking out of water bowls to jumping to the truck to reach the beach, swimming in the ocean, and jumping on the boat to go fishing. Because he lives with dogs for a long time, Marlin thinks that he is a dog.

Besides cheerful ocean trips, at home, Marlin feels happy to play with the dogs. “Every time I turn around, he is hunting one of them, or getting ready to attach the dogs,” Caroline shared on her Youtube. His siblings, also, love him so much. They love every moment with little brother Marlin, whether it is at home or on the beach. When Caroline takes them out for an ocean adventure, Marlin dips himself in the water, performing excellent swimming, coming back to the land, and shaking his body just as the dogs do.

Before adopting Marlin, Caroline did worry about how the cat could adjust to her lifestyle. Soon after, she realized that he was a friendly boy who could get used to changes quickly.” “He is comfortable jumping in my truck, riding down the road, laying in the dash to listen to music, jumping on the boat just like he lays on the couch of the house. He truly thinks he is one of the pups and just lives! said Caroline.
