A group of whale watchers on a trip to San Ignacio Lagoon, in Baja California Peninsula, Mexico are incredibly lucky travelers. They spotted a huge humpback whale popping up on the open sea.
All people sat open-mouthed in surprise and snapped pictures of the spectacular marine mammal. A woman on the boat even stood up and threw her arms into the air to celebrate. Awesome!

But do you know that the ending of the trip is a dramatic twist? The sneaky whale got humans astonished as it popped up behind them. At that time, the whale sightseers were looking in the opposite direction. They didn’t realize the presence of the whale until one turned around in their boat.

Luckily, sightseers caught the majestic creature in the last moments before it disappeared into the sea. It was so close to them, just a few dozen feet away from their boat. The scene was marvelous! Although they looked the wrong way, they didn’t miss the lifetime opportunity.
