Dad Surprises His Daughter’s Wedding By Inviting Her Step Dad To Walk Her Down The Aisle Together

Girls all dream of putting on a beautiful white dress and walking down the aisle with our dad. It’s probably the most memorable moment in our life, and our dad’s. Dads may even burst into tears with happiness. This is not only the feeling of biological dads but also that of the stepdads. Many love their stepdaughters unconditionally and always hope for the best for them.

Todd Cendrosky, stepdad of bride Brittany Peck is among these great fathers. He was so happy to attend his little Brittany’s wedding. But he never thought that he would walk her down the aisle. Her biological father, Todd Bachman would do it as a tradition.

But a miracle happened. When Bachman started to walk their daughter down the aisle, he stopped the procession and walked over him. Bachman invited him to do it together. Their daughter had two dads, so it was reasonable for them to walk her down the aisle together.

Some people have a negative perspective of divorce. It is something terrible and unforgivable. If parents divorce, kids will have to choose to live with their moms or dads. It won’t be a happy family anymore. But it’s not always true, guy. Some couples don’t find a common voice between them, so they decide to separate from each other. They respect each other and truly hope that their ex-partner will find a better partner.

As a parent, nothing is happier than seeing their children grow up and have their own family. Todd Cendrosky is no exception. Although he is just a stepdad, he loves Brittany like that of his own.

That is why he got astonished when his daughter’s biological dad asked him to walk her down the aisle together. Just look at his happy and proud eyes.

“He came and grabbed my hand, and said: ‘You worked as hard as I have. You’ll help us walk our daughter down the aisle,” Mr. Cendrosky told WKYC in 2015. “I got weak in the knees and lost it. Nothing better in my life. The most impactful moment in my life.”

Regarding Brittany, she said that she had dreamed of it before. He considered her stepdad her second dad and never doubted his love for her. She even felt lucky as she had two dads.

Divorce is not always a bad ending, guys. It can be a good beginning that enables divorcees to have a better life.
