When a young man found an injured kitten hiding inside the yard of a house, he immediately called DAR Animal Rescue for help. After receiving the emergency call, Ermioni, the founder of DAR Animal Rescue and her friends rushed to the yard to rescue the poor kitten. With the help of the man, they finally found the kitten’s place, where was filled in spiders and old stuffs.
The kitten was afraid of people and got herself inside old things, so it was not easy for Ermioni to catch her. Whenever she approached the kitten and tried to catch her, she would run away. Despite being in a hard situation, Ermioni did not give up. She knew that she had to do everything she could to save the kitten. Eventually, her effort was paid off. She caught the kitten and put her into the cage safely.
After the kitten calmed down, they took her to the vet for a check-up. She was very tired and stressed, but the vets needed to check her health immediately. Her body was full of holes and injuries, so the vets cleaned her and did X-rays. The results showed that she had a broken spine caused by dog teeth. Vets gave her antibiotics, painkillers and everything they could to make her comfortable.
After examining and giving her all medical treatment she needed, they let her sleep. Everyone could only hope but her chances were not good unfortunately. She was in such poor condition, but they refused to give up. They kept trying and doing everything to help her. Sadly, the sweet kitty was just too damaged to come through, and she passed away 3 days later.
She couldn’t win her fate, but she passed away peacefully, not in a dirty shed, alone, and scared. In her last days, she was loved and cared by great people. We hope that she will have a better life in the heaven. Rest in peace! Thank you for saving and taking care of her until she left this world.
