There are far too many heart-shattering stories of cruel people abandoning their pets. But thankfully, there are still many good people who are willing to help these poor animals and give them second chance at life. After all, those furry friends got the happy ending they deserved. And the story below is one of those with the happy endings.
An evil man abandoned his cat near Animal’s Cottage’s farm and ran away. The farm servant called him but he ignored and continued to run. When some staff from the center came to check up, they were shocked to see the cat’s situation. She was paralyzed and couldn’t stand up.
She looked clean and was not afraid of people, so everyone thought that she was a house cat and used to be cared by her owner. Sadly, he dumped her and left her to fend for herself because of her disability. The staff gave her food to fill her empty belly up. She was then taken to a vet clinic for a check up. They even gave her a new name, Pumpkin.
After giving her pain medicine and examining her thoroughly, the vets said that her back legs didn’t work properly due to spine injury. It would take her a long time to recover, so the staff provided everything she needed to help her heal in their shelter. They gave her all the love and care that she deserved.
It was difficult for Pumpkin to recover quickly, but she and everyone didn’t give up. They just wanted to see her recover and walk on her own legs. Eventually, everyone’s effort was paid off and their wish seemed to be coming true. Their eyes were full of tears when they witnessed the cat first tried to stand up by herself.
With the help of staff at the shelter and her great will, Pumpkin now becomes a healthy and happy cat. She can walk again and even jump like other cats. She had a hard time, but she never lets it put her down. Everyone thought she was permanently paralyzed and would need a wheelchair. But after all, she made an amazing recovery, and she is now enjoying her best life that she deserves.
