Kitten Having Seizure Was Rescued And Re-united With His Family

We all know that baby cats are often weaker and more vulnerable than the adult ones. But these little kittens had to endure the extremely hot weather when they were very small. Their mother was a stray cat; she gave birth to them at a balcony that she could found. The people in the house gave food to the mother cat. Until one day, they were shocked to realize one of the baby cats got a serious seizure.

A woman took him to the vet immediately. Checking his temperature, the vet concluded he got a heat stroke, which happened when the kitten was exposed to too much heat. Because the baby kitten was on the balcony under the hot weather for hours, his temperature was nearly 41 degrees Celsius, at which even the human body is not able to endure. And the kitten was too young to endure the heat. To lower his temperature, the only solution was to compress him with ice or cold weather. After being compressed, the little cat stopped shaking and felt much better.

The woman took the cat home and continued cooling him off at her house. After making sure he was in a better condition, the woman spent a while checking out his mother and siblings outside. They were fine. Everything seemed to be controlled, but that night, the kitten suffered another painful seizure. To comfort him, the woman decided to take one of his siblings with him, and at the same time, she compressed him with ice. We can not imagine exactly what happened that night, but it was definitely a hard time for not only the cat but also the woman who took care of him.

The next day, people at the house tried to re-measure the temperature of the baby kitten. It was a hard thing to do cause the kitten moved a lot. But finally, they could be happy to see the temperature go down to 35-36 degrees. The cat was in stable condition. They kept him with them for a while until he was really healthy, before taking him back to his mom. Reuniting with her child, the mother cat was very happy that he was in safe and good condition. And the baby felt better when he could play with his siblings again.
