Baby Goose Can’t Wait To Fly Over To Greet His Human Friend In The Park

Animals are very interesting. They always live by their true emotions. If these furry guys like or dislike something, they will express it right away. Looking at their actions, gestures, or facial expressions, you can totally read how they feel.

Sam, the adorable, playful baby goose in this story is an example. He has his favorite person, a man named Doug Carleton. The little animal can’t wait to run to greet the man when seeing him walking in the park.

Doug Carleton has gone to a little park in his city over the past 3 years. Here, the man has chances to hang out and make friends with all the geese who live there.

“Geese were new to me, but I just picked up how to not alarm them or give them reason to fear me, and eventually all of them just became cool with having me amongst them and interacting with them.” Carleton told the media.

Carleton becomes friends with eight geese who live in the park regularly. Not just that, he names for every one of them.

You can watch the video of the gang here.

In June, Carleton met a baby goose running around whom he decided to name Sam. The new gosling was born on a little island in the middle of the pond where the geese sleep at night. Sam’s parents took him to shore when the baby goose was strong enough to swim.

Sam and Carleton start getting to know each other and soon become friends. He gets so excited every time he sees Carleton in the park. The baby goose acts as a hospitable homeowner, flying over to greet his human friend.

You can watch the video of Sam greeting his favorite person here.

“He is the most passive of all the geese so far, geese tend to hiss at people when they get cornered/think someone is moving too close and ignoring the honking,” Carleton said. “I have never heard Sam hiss at anyone yet.”

Do you fall in love with the adorable and friendly baby goose? If yes, do not hesitate to share the story with family and friends. It will add more colors to your day.
