Pumpkin is an orange kitten in a litter of kittens that was rescued and fostered by a family. At first, the family didn’t have a plan to keep any of them, but as time goes by, they fell in love with the kittens and decided to adopt Pumpkin and his brother – Moustachio. It was clear that the family couldn’t be separated from them.
Pumpkin was diagnosed as a mild case of cerebellar hypoplasia in his growth. Despite having some difficulties in his coordination and depth perception, he never lets it be the hindrance for his adventuring and his life.
“We say he’s clumsy like a puppy”, as Pumpkin’s mom, Tia shared, “He looks more like the trots than runs, his front paws up one at a time.”
Pumpkin is always crazy about being outside, so he always embarks on thousands of adventures with his family. For this reason, his family decided to have a trip to the beach with him for the first time.
When Pumpkin saw the beach, he was happy and ran around the sand to enjoy everything around him. He seemed to be very entertaining until the wind was blowing. That’s when his mother realized that the adventurous cat is not fond of the wind.
“He actually really loved the beach but we soon found out he didn’t love the wind,” Tia said. “The faces he was making, we’d never seen anything like it before, so we were taking pictures and videos.”
As the wind hit Pumpkin, he had some unprecedented facial expressions such as funny, sassy, and they can’t bear laughing at how much he hated the wind.
Despite loving going to the beach, Pumpkin did detest the winds at the beach that day, and he was not bashful to show this to his family.
Since then, Pumpkin has been taking many trips back to the beach. Of course, he still loves playing and running around, but the wind will never be his cup of tea.
