Boxer Dog Was Abandoned And Tied To A Lamppost, Kept Waiting With Sad Eyes

A local resident named Graham Dobson was on his way to work when he found a sad and scared dog chained to a lamppost at the roadside. He fed the dog and waited to see if his owner would return to get him. Sadly, the heartless owner failed to return hours later, and the poor dog was abandoned. So, Dobson quickly called the dog warden to pick him up.

The poor dog seemed to be waiting for his family to come back, but deep down, he realized that he had been abandoned and didn’t know why his family left him behind. Dobson just hopes that somebody will give him a forever home that he deserves.

“It was heartbreaking to see he had been left and how upset he was, as he was a real nice dog and so friendly. He was really scared. I don’t understand why people would just dump a dog. I love animals and don’t want to see them abandoned or mistreated,” Dobson said.

The boxer is now cared by Nottinghamshire and Yorkshire Boxer Rescue. They gave him a new name Max and are looking for him a good home.

The rescue posted, “Max is doing very well and has gone to stay with a very experienced foster home, where the family is helping us to assess and care for him.” There has been a lot of applications for sweet Max. “As you can imagine we have had an overwhelming amount of interest and applications for Max, but for now we feel it best to just concentrate on his care and further assess his needs.”

Right now Max is being showered with love, and he will soon find his forever home. We hope that he is never neglected or mistreated again.
