Some volunteers at Dog Rescue Shelter Mladenovac in Serbia were on the way to their shelter when they saw a dog wandering the streets. The black dog stopped them and begged them for help. As they got out of the car, a truck was coming from the opposite direction. The dog was in the middle of the street, so the volunteers couldn’t approach the dog. They were scared that the poor soul would run away and would be hit by the truck.
Thankfully, the truck driver spotted the dog and the rescuers. He reduced his speed and passed by slowly. Everyone was relieved as the dog didn’t move. She then moved to the side of the road, so the volunteers could get closer and catch her easily and safely. Despite being abandoned, the dog was friendly and sweet. She let one of the rescuers touch her and pick her up. She seemed to realize that these people were good, and they were here to help her.
The dog was named Bora and was then taken to the shelter, where she was welcomed by other rescue dogs. The rescuers gave her food and prepared a safe place for her to sleep. They didn’t forget to give her medical treatment and care she needed. When Bora was ready for adoption, they helped her find a new home that she deserved.

We are happy to announce that Bora is now living her best life in her loving home. After all she had been through, she now has a new life full of joy and love. We hope that she will be loved and cared forever.
