When Animal Aid Unlimited received a call about a paralyzed dog named Buster was in need of help, their team rushed to scene to help the poor dog. His family gave him food and dressed him to keep him warm. They said that he was hit by a car and his spine was damaged. Due to not being given proper treatment and care, his back legs were paralyzed and he couldn’t stand up or walk.
The team quickly took him to the vet for a check up. He was in bad shape, so everyone thought that he might be paralyzed for life. Although his spine was damaged, he still had some sensation in his leg. Knowing that he had a slim chance of recovery, but they refused to give up. They tried their best to treat him and help him walk again.
The staff started to give Buster physiotherapy to maintain his muscles. Sadly, even after 3 weeks, he couldn’t stand up on his leg and would collapse within seconds. However, neither he nor his caregivers stopped trying. Eventually, their effort was paid off. Little by little they saw signs of progress.
After 6 weeks of therapy, Buster made a miraculous recovery and could walk again. He was neutered and ready to go home. After coming back to his home, he was happy to meet his beloved family. Due to his situation, they were far apart from each other in two months. But after all, he is now healthy and lives happily with his family.
