Animals Cats Inspired Rescue Touching Stories

Abandoned Paralyzed Kitten Was Rescued And Now Living His Best Life

It has never been easy for us to believe a paralyzed kitten can even run or jump. But magic has come to this tiny paralyzed kitten. He proved that everyone was wrong.

The kitten was found alone in a puddle under a car. The people finding him asked Tata (their neighbor) to help and save him. She has fostered many stray cats and helped them find their loving homes for years. Tata rushed to the rescue spot, took the poor little kitten home and gave him a bath.

However, she soon realized something unusual about his legs. While the two front legs can move normally, the back legs didn’t have any muscle tone. He was paralyzed. At that moment, Tata knew that the special kitten would stay with her forever, instead of finding a new family for him.

The next morning, Tata moved him to the vet to figure out why he couldn’t walk. The vet claimed that the little cat would never run or jump or have any quality of life. He would never live a normal life like other cats. It upset Tata so much that she cried hard while driving back home.

She loved him, the poor little kitten, and decided not to give up trying his luck at other vet clinics. Luckily, the third vet she visited agreed to give him a checkup and concluded that he got a spinal injury. From the first day, Tata understood that it wouldn’t be easy to cure his disease,  but she would always stay by his side, and fight for him. And as she had promised, Tata did everything to help the cat walk on his legs.

The little cat was named Angel as the way he looked like. Having unusable legs, he was still a happy kitten because he knew Tata loved him in a special way. Angel got a bit bigger and proved to everyone that he could be speedy even on his two front legs. But to make him move easier, Tata asked her neighbor to make a cart for Angel. Our boy was a fast learner. It didn’t take him a long time to master moving around on wheels.

The small cat who used to be unable to move around now can do anything he sets in mind, from running to climbing trees. He is like a warrior with great perseverance for life. He is receiving much love and care, so we can ensure that he gets a good quality of life. He plays, runs, jumps, and climbs, and chases. Everything we thought he couldn’t do before, he can. Also, Tata doesn’t see him as a burden or a problem. She thinks having Angel is a gift and a blessing to her life.

This story can be a strong inspiration to many people. It teaches us not to give up fighting for our survival. Angel is just an example of how other cats outside are being abandoned and threatened at risk. Therefore, we should take actions to save those poor creatures. Let’s share this video to encourage people to rescue more animals.
