Roo the cat was found living in a dark and dirty garage. He didn’t have family, so Tobias’ family rescued him and adopted him.
“When I saw him, it was crazy. Roo could barely move. He was like a little baby. I was nervous. So, I wanted to know more. I want to make him have a happy life,” Tobias, Roo’s brother, said.
The family took Roo to a local vet to check out his health. But sadly, the vet figured he might have 2 weeks to live. Tobias and his family were very sad, but they still wanted to help the cat.
“I wanted to help him, too. I know cats. When they’re alone, they’re stressed. They’re depressed. I just want to make sure that I’m with Roo most of the time. Every day I come and pet him. I could keep him company. I could keep him entertained. So that’s when reading cat books with him came about.”
Roo loves it just so much. He listens to well when Tobias reads books. And of course, Tobias is happy to make his little brother happy and comfort.
