This is the heartwarming and precious moment when a rescue dog cannot stop showing his genuine gratitude and appreciation to the woman who saved him.
Reportedly, this dog was abandoned along with his siblings by their owners. They were tied up with no food or water, and were suffering in the hot summer weather.
When the woman found the poor dogs, she waited to see if someone would help them. But when nobody came to help, she knew she needed to act fast.
“I saw abandoned dogs for days with no food, water or shelter, dying in 100 + degrees. They were tied up on two-foot chains, not able to move. I waited to see if someone would help them and I couldn’t sleep at night, so I saved them.”
The kind lady placed the dogs in her car and took them to safety. But as she drove, one of the dogs reached out to her, sticking out his paw and grabbing her hand multiple times.
“It broke my heart that he’d been neglected and was dying and wasn’t mad at me but grateful,” the woman wrote. I started to cry and again, his focus shifted from himself to now my needs. I couldn’t believe so much love came from an animal that literally just came from a situation like he was in.”
It was clear that the dog wanted to show his affection and love to his rescuer. Even after being chained up and left to starve in terrible conditions, he still trusts people and isn’t afraid to show his emotions.
