Keta would be a normal cat if she didn’t have a tennis-ball-sized tumor on her face. The tumor not only made her life harder as the girl had to fight for survival, but it also changed her appearance. She was a stray kitty just wanting to be euthanized. While no one hesitated to adopt her, Unwanted NYC Pets found her and fostered the poor baby.

According to the doctor, Keta needed urgent surgery to prevent cancer. The volunteers worked hard to raise money so that the little girl could go on the operation she desperately wanted. Although the tumor caused much pain, Keta was a cheerful girl. She surprised everyone with incredible inner strength and energy. The girl wouldn’t give up in the battle with the disease.

When the volunteers got enough donations, Keta received the surgery. The doctor said that even though the surgery was successful, her recovery was not guaranteed. There was a possibility that Keta lost her ability to see and eat. The volunteers knew that they could help nothing but pray for the poor soul and hope all the best for her.

Thankfully, Keta recovered incredibly after her tumor had been removed. Dr. Tomas, her surgeon, tried his best to avoid the possible complications. Her skin tightened, and her appetite got signs of improvement. Eventually, a new smile bloomed on the little pretty face. Keta became a happy cat, living amidst the love and care of the volunteers at her shelter. Of course, her amazing transformation was not only thanks to good treatment, but also because of human love.
