At Aged 21, This Man Adopted A Boy With Autism, And Now, He is Dad Of 6 Children With Disabilities

Love and kindness can turn this world into a better place. When it comes to young children with disabilities, these can change their life forever. Nothing is precious than a hand given to us when we need it most. They were born imperfect but luckily, God doesn’t leave them alone struggling for their survival. Their saviors come and give them a second chance for a happy life.

“I’ve always known what I wanted. I never wanted to become a biological dad because being a parent is so much more than that,” Ben said

“I wanted to help kids that were the most vulnerable and the ones that were most in need of a loving and caring home,” he added.

His first child, Jack, who has autism is now 14 years old. When asked about his dad, the teenage boy always says “Daddy is the best daddy in the world.”

Are there any other beautiful words to describe dads? Some people say that it’s hard to get along with children with autism. But the heart-tendered man proves it’s possible. Jack has received tremendous love and cares from his beloved dad. His heart opens a door for him, letting him become an important part of his world.

His other 5 children are Ruby aged 11, who has complex needs; Lilly aged 9, who profoundly deaf; Joseph, aged six, who has Down’s Syndrome; and Louis, who is now two years old and who has cerebral palsy and is blind.

One of his children, Teddy, passed away 2 years ago after contracting sepsis. This loss hurts him and his family for a long time. “I was devastated and I felt guilty for a while because I kept wondering if there was something I could have done to fix it,” the heartbroken father said.
