Meet Stevie, The Blind Rescued Cat Who Loves To Go Hiking

Four years ago, Patrick Corr adopted a blind cat named Stevie from a local animal shelter in Cork, Ireland. Despite being blind, Stevie navigates with a combination of her senses. Her sense of smell is extremely sharp.

She is not a simple cat, she is an expert mountaineer and a natural explorer. She loves to accompany her dad on hikes in the beautiful Irish countryside and the surrounding mountains. When hiking, Stevie usually prefers to explore all by herself and follows her dad’s sounds.

Patrick’s life has been pretty busy and difficult after he had two babies and saved up to buy a house. But matter how his life changes, his cat continues to be a very important family members and his best friend.

After all, Stevie has always been an inspiration for Partrick and continues to be with her courage, tenacity, and her great love of life!

You can watch the video of Stevie here:

“What a beautiful cat and owner! This is one of my all time favorite stories on Paws Planet. God bless both of you and I hope Stevie raises lots of money for the animals in Ireland! God willing Stevie will have a long and loving life with her loving owner!,” a person commented.

Another said, “One thing is for sure, Stevie may be blind but she can see the love you have for her, everyone can!”
