If you speak to a dog person, they will say that cats are selfish and aloof. However, it is not like that at all with a cat named Eric. He is affectionate, attentive, and close to his dad all the time. All things he wants is to get lots of love and attention.
“He doesn’t leave my side. He’ll follow. He’s like a little shadow. He will come and sit on me all the time. He sits on my shoulders, sits on my chest and sort of snuggling to my neck. He will meow until I give him the attention, the strokes. He loves belly rubs. He gets at least one good brush every day,” Steve, Eric’s dad, said.
Eric loves to sleep with his dad so much that he never misses a chance to take a spot on his dad’s bed. When Steve settles down to go to sleep, the cat will jump up, next to him. No matter what happens, he has to sleep on the pillow.
Eric has a best friend named Ollie. They are just really good company and are loving and close to their owners. It’s clear that the family has built a strong bond with their cats. That’s the reason why they just want to be by their owners 24/7.
