Moose is a 1.5-year-old Golden Retriever pup who lives with his parents in Grand Rapids, Michigan. The adorable dog not only adores his family, but also loves everyone around him. He even has formed a special bond with a new mailman who was assigned the route that includes his house a few weeks ago.
One day, Moose was watching outside of the window of his house when he saw the new mailman. The dog seemed to sense a friendly vibe from the mailman as he was making his rounds. For this reason, he really wanted to show his love and affection to his favorite friend.
As the mailman’s truck approached the house, Moose insisted he was let outside to get a closer look at the postman. He sat patiently and wagged his tail excitedly as the mailman got out of his vehicle and walked towards him. He felt excited, so he wanted to give his new friend a sweet hug. The mailman seemed just as happy to see Moose as he was him.

“It was adorable,” Meghan Gruszynski, Moose’s owner, told The Dodo. “I loved how much he loved our boy and loved how much Moose loved saying hi to him.”
The mailman now receives something special each day in return. He is so happy because when he arrives, Moose is there to greet him with wagging tails and sweet hugs that are enough to improve his day.
“I’ve come to find out our mailman’s dog recently passed away,” Gruszynski said. “He loves how much love Moose gives him every time he is out on his route.”
“Hopefully it continues for many, many years!” the proud dog owner said. “He’s our mailman ’til he retires, so it should be fun watching their love.”
We hope so too, because what is more awesome than a puppy providing comfort to someone who needs it? Exactly, nothing.
