Laila is a cat foster who loves caring and fostering orphan kittens. So when she got a call asking her if she could take two newborn kittens in, she agreed immediately. She got a container and came to bring the kittens home.
The kittens were found abandoned on the road, with no mother in sight. They were so weak and sick, so Laila took on the mama cat responsibilities to help them survive and grow. She cared for them as if she was a cat mom and they were her own babies.
“The first thing I would do is I’d wake them up by using a soft toothbrush to simulate the mom licking them to wake them up. I had to feed them every two hours. Every two to three hours I’d potty them and feed them,” she shared.
They didn’t want to give up this fight, and that’s what Laila immediately loved. The kittens started recovering and their personalities started to shine through. They were really spunky, they were loud, they were adventurous, they were playful.
They are so different, but they are so attached to each other. They do everything together. Thankfully, they were finally adopted by a family in New York. They were born into this world with a huge disadvantage, but now they are living their happy life with their loving owners!
