Puppy Can’t Stop Wagging Tail When She Gets Out Of The Shelter

This is Matilda – a pit bull puppy was found as a stray and taken to the Douglas County Animal Shelter in Georgia. Although Matilda’s first couple months of life was tough, she was always happy, and she never stopped wagging her tail.

Santina Sanders, a volunteer at the shelter, took a video of Matilda’s tail in action and shared it on her Facebook page. “And she gave the most sweetest kisses,” Santina Sanders told The Dodo. “She was the cutest thing ever.”

Rescued by Pibbles & More Animal Rescue-PMAR GA ❤️????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????I just absolutely LOVE this girl!!! Matilda is about 2 months old, stinking cute, and is a happy, happy girl. She almost has a smiling face. Just adorable! Stop in and see this doll! Please ONLY adopt her if you are patient, willing to teach her the right from wrong. She will be ready to play, nip until taught not to, chew up some personal belongings, and crap ???? everywhere…. play time is a must for pups. When Douglas County Animal Shelter picked her up, she had irritated skin and worms in her belly. Thankfully, one of the group’s coordinators, Teresa Bowles-Chiofalo, decided to go to the shelter to collect the sweet puppy and get her into a foster home.

On the way to her foster home, Matilda couldn’t hide her excitement. She can’t stop smiling and wagging her tail for one second during the hour and a half car ride.

“The dictionary definition of ‘joy’ is: ‘noun: a feeling of great pleasure and happiness’ This is the picture next to that definition in the dictionary. Matilda. She is pure, pure joy,” Pibbles & More Animal Rescue wrote on Facebook.

When the pair came home, Matilda’s foster mom, Kerrie Rich, fell in love with her immediately. Matilda also loves everything about her foster home. She loves napping with her foster siblings, playing with her toys and hanging out with her foster mom’s neighbors.

We are happy to hear that Matilda is enjoying her wonderful life. Once Matilda is adopted, Rich will save another dog from the shelter. But until that day comes, Rich will enjoy her life with Matilda and her wagging tail.

Please share this sweet story with your friends and family!
