Imam Opens Mosque’s Doors To Stray Cats To Keep Them Warm

There’s a mosque called Aziz Mahmud Hüdayi in Istanbul, Turkey, where stray cats are allowed to enter. The imam of the mosque, Mustafa Efe has been doing this for over a year now. He wants to keep these little felines safe and warm during the harsh winter days.

Efe makes the cats feel so safe and comfortable that one of the cats brought her kittens to the mosque one by one. She just came in and placed her tiny ones near the pulpit where Efe preaches. “The kitty has found the heart of compassion and mercy,” Efe posted on Facebook.
