Sick Paralyzed Cat Gets Rescued And Given A Second Chance At Life

How’s Paws is the name of a group of volunteers who are trying to do their best to protect and save innocent souls. They now have 21 dogs and 84 street cats (different ages). Some of them are hit by cars and suffering from paralysis, some are blind, and some have diseases more complicated.

Last month, some volunteers of How’s Paw were on their way when they found a sick paralyzed cat lying under a tree. He was very scared, so they tried to comfort and calm him down. His condition was very bad, so the volunteers immediately took him to the vet to check for his health. The volunteers also found another kitten on the street. She was alone, hungry, and filled with fleas, so they took her in.

After doing an examination, the doctors found that he had a hole between the throat of the mouth and the airway. Through this hole, liquids and food can go down to the lung and this can cause serious health problems. For this reason, they decided to operate him to close the hole. He also suffered from many diseases such as spinal fracture dislocation, anemia, belly worms, dehydration, and pneumonia due to nasal fistula disease.

Thankfully, the surgery was successful and the hole was closed. He also got medical treatment for his diseases. He was under the influence of anesthetic, so everyone had to wait for him to wake up. Finally, he woke up and was in good health. He was fed by good food, and he ate like he had never eaten before. Thanks to love and care of the doctors and rescuers, he is now healthier and better.
