Blind Cat Gets Second Chance At Happy Life After Being Rescued From Dumpster

Helen is a blind kitten who was abandoned in a dumpster and didn’t think she would survive in such extreme conditions. Thankfully, firemen from a nearby firehouse found her and contacted the local animal shelter to call for help.

The shelter took her to a local vet to check her health. She had serious health problems, so the vets recommended putting her down. Animal control officers, however, refused to do that. They wanted to fight for her survival.

The vets tried their best to save her life, but they couldn’t save her eyes. An untreated upper respiratory infection damaged her eyes and left her completely blind. But thanks to the help and love of everyone at the shelter, Helen fought for herself.

Despite being completely blind, that doesn’t stopped her from living her life and finding a full and happy life. Finally, her life changed when a police officer named Amber gave her a second chance at new happy life.

“I fell in love with her immediately. She was so sweet and she deserved the best home,” Amber said.

Amber already has two rescue cats, so she thought that Helen would be the perfect addition to her family. Amber prepared everything to help the special-needs cat adjust. However, Helen quickly adapted to her new environment.

She quickly memorized the structure of the house and hadn’t had any issues. “I truthfully do not have to do anything different for her than would be done for any cat.”

Helen and her furry siblings are best buddies. They spend their days doing everything together. Helen started her life with pain, but she is now happy and confident in her new house with her loving family.

Helen’s story is proof that every cat deserves to be given a second chance at a happy life. If you love Helen and her siblings, you can follow them on Instagram.

Saving animals in need can be one of the most rewarding experiences in the world. Helping and giving them a second chance at a new happy life is not something money can buy.
